This section covers the initial steps to add a new store, fill in its details (address, hours, filters), and make it live in your locator.
1.1. Navigating to eLocate #
- After logging in to epicApps, from the store dashboard, on the left sidebar panel, click on the Apps → Products & Design → eLocate
- You’ll land on the App Overview page.

You’ll also see a Get Support section, which simply points you to the Help button that’s available on every page. - To begin, click eLocate from the left sidebar panel. This will take you to the Stores Page — this is your hub for adding and managing every store location.
- If you haven’t added any stores yet, this page will be empty
1.2. How to Add a New Store Location #
- On the Stores page, click the Add New button (green, top right).
- The Add Store screen is organized into three sections to help you enter all the store information:
Section 1: Store Profile
- General Details
This is the first tab you’ll land on. Fill in the basic store information:
- Store name – the public name shown to shoppers.
- Website – the store website.
- Phone – the store contact number.
- Email – the store contact email.
- Upload Your Logo:
- Drag and drop your image file into the upload area, or click Browse to select a JPG or PNG file from your device.
- Recommended image size: No bigger than 530px wide and 145px high.
- Once uploaded, your image will appear in the Current Logo Preview
- Address
Click the Address tab, then add your store’s physical location:
- Enter the full address in the address field, or use the map to drop the pin.
- The form auto-fills State, City, and ZIP Code based on the address you enter.
- If the pin is slightly off, drag it to fine-tune the exact location. You can also zoom in and out on the map for more precise placement.
C. Hours Of Operation
Click the Hours Of Operation tab, then set up the following:
Opening & Closing Hours:
- For each day (Sunday → Saturday) check the box to enable that day.
- Select Open and Close times from the dropdowns (times are in 30-minute steps, e.g., 9:00 AM, 9:30 AM).
- If a day is disabled, it is treated as closed and will not appear in the store locator.
Holiday Notice:
- Turn on Holiday Notice to show a short message (e.g., “Hours may vary on major holidays”).
- Enter the notice text in the field that appears.
Section 2: Store Coverage
Specify the areas this store serves:
- Enter ZIP Codes in the tag input box; press Enter after each code to create a tag.
- Remove a ZIP code by clicking the X on its tag.
Section 3: Store Filters
Apply filters and business attributes that describe the store (e.g., services, certifications, business type).
When you open this section, you’ll see a table of filter categories created from your Global Filters. By default, no values are selected, and all filters are visible.

How to apply filter values:
- Find the filter category in the list.
- Click the Edit icon in the Actions column. A pop-up will open.
- In the pop-up, select one or more values from the dropdown.
- Each selected value will appear below the dropdown with an “X” icon beside it. Click the X if you want to remove a value.
- Click Save in the pop-up to confirm your selections.
- If a filter category doesn’t apply to this store, switch OFF its Visibility toggle. (The default is ON, so all categories are visible unless you disable them.)
- Don’t forget: after updating filters, click the main Save (top right, green) button to save the entire store location.

1.3. Managing Store Locations #
How to Enable/Disable a Store Location #
- From the Stores page (see Navigating to eLocate for full steps), find the store you want to enable/disable.
- Look for the Store Off/On switch, click the toggle:
- On = Store Location is active.
- Off = Store Location is disabled.
- On = Store Location is active.
- A success message will appear confirming your change.
| 🗒️ Note: Disabling a store hides it from your store locator but does not delete the record. You can re-enable it anytime. Use this option if a location is temporarily closed or inactive, without losing its details. |
How to Edit a Store Location #
- From the Stores page (see Navigating to eLocate for full steps), find the store you want to edit.
- Click the
Edit icon.
- You’ll be taken back to the setup wizard, where you can update any details/settings.
- Don’t forget to click Update when done.
How to Delete a Store Location #
- From the Stores page (see Navigating to eLocate for full steps), find the store you want to delete.
- Click the
Delete icon.
- A confirmation message will appear.
- Select Yes to permanently delete.

| 💡Tip: • If the store doesn’t appear in live search results, confirm the address is correct and the store has coverage (if your site filters by ZIP). • If a filter option is missing, create it under Global Filters and then apply it on the store record. • For map problems, try re-entering the full address or dragging the pin manually. |
