5. Reward Triggers and Activation

After customizing your rewards program (amounts, messages, and emails), the final step is to decide when rewards are credited and activate your program.

5.1. Navigating to Reward Settings #

  • From the epicApps left sidebar panel, click on Apps → Website Marketing → goLoyalty → Rewards
  • Go to the Settings submenu

5.2. Choosing When Rewards Are Given #

  1. Under Choose When Rewards Are Given, select one or more order statuses that will trigger rewards to be credited back to customers:
    • Pending – Reward immediately after the order is placed, before payment or processing begins.
    • Awaiting Payment – Reward when the order has been created but payment has not yet been received.
    • Awaiting Fulfillment – Reward after payment is received, but before the order is prepared or shipped.
    • Awaiting Shipment – Reward once the order is packed and ready to be shipped but has not yet left the facility.
    • Awaiting Pickup – Reward once the order is ready for customer pickup but has not yet been collected.
    • Partially Shipped – Reward when part of the order has been shipped, but other items are still pending.
    • Shipped – Reward when the order has been dispatched to the customer.
    • Completed – Reward after the order is fully finalized and fulfilled (all items shipped/picked up and no further action needed).
    • Cancelled – Reward if the order is cancelled by either the customer or the store.
    • Declined – Reward if the order is declined (e.g., payment not approved).
    • Refunded – Reward if the order has been fully refunded to the customer.
    • Partially Refunded – Reward if the order has been partially refunded, but not the full amount.
    • Disputed – Reward when the order is under dispute (e.g., chargeback or customer dispute filed).
    • Manual Verification Required – Reward only after the order has been manually verified (e.g., for high-value or flagged transactions).
  2. After choosing the triggers, hit the Save button.

5.3. How to Enable or Disable Rewards #

This is the main switch for your Rewards program. Turning it ON activates Rewards for your store, while turning it OFF pauses the program without deleting your setup. You can return here anytime to control whether Rewards are live on your site.

  1. Navigate to the Reward Settings
    • From the epicApps left sidebar panel, click on Apps → Website Marketing → goLoyalty → Rewards
    • Go to the Settings submenu
  2. To enable or disable Rewards:
    • Switch the toggle ON to activate Rewards on your site.
    • Switch the toggle OFF to temporarily pause Rewards. Your previous setup is saved and will be restored if you turn it back on.
    • Be sure you’ve finished customizing your amounts, messages, and emails before turning this ON.
  3. Click Save at the top to confirm your changes..
