Choosing Between Basic and Advanced Setup #
When setting up rewards, you can choose between two options:
- Basic: Use a single fixed reward rate for all purchases (e.g., 1¢ per $1).
- Advanced: Unlock additional control over how rewards are applied. In Advanced Setup, you can:
- Exclude specific products or customer groups from earning rewards (e.g., Exclude “Promo Items” or “Wholesale Customers” from earning rewards).
- Create multiple custom tiers with different reward percentages (e.g., 10% back for $1–$500, 15% for $501–$1500).
- (Optional) Add maximum earning limits per tier
This gives you the flexibility to tailor how rewards are earned across your store.
To switch between Basic and Advanced Setup:
- On the Rewards submenu, choose either Basic or Advanced by selecting the radio button next to your preferred setup.
- Each mode saves your settings separately, so you can switch back and forth without losing progress.
- The selected option will be highlighted.
How to Set Up Rewards in Basic #
- On the Rewards submenu, select Basic.
- Enter how many cents to give back per $1 spent.
