Customize Pop Card Behavior #
Step 1: Set Pop Card Behavior
- Make this Pop Card Sticky β Check this box to keep the Pop Card fixed in place, even when visitors scroll the page.
- Make this Pop Card Dim Background β Check this box to darken the rest of the page behind the Pop Card and help your message stand out.
You can select either option alone or both together, depending on how much attention you want the popCard to grab.
π‘ Tip: Using both Sticky and Dim Background can help important announcements stand out. For everyday promotions, consider using them selectively so the experience remains comfortable for visitors.
Step 2: Set Hide Options
Choose how you want visitors to close the Pop Card:
- Click outside the Pop Card β The Pop Card will close when a visitor clicks anywhere outside of it.
- Click the X β The Pop Card will close only when a visitor clicks the close button (X) in the corner.
π‘ Tip: If you want to make sure visitors read your message before closing, choose Click the X. For a lighter, less intrusive experience, use Click Outside the PopCard.
Step 3: Set Show Triggers
- Under Who to Show,Β decide which visitors should see your Pop Card:
- All Visitors β Show the Pop Card to everyone who visits your storefront.
- New Visitors Only β Show the Pop Card only to first-time visitors.
- Returning Visitors Only β Show the Pop Card only to visitors who have previously visited your storefront.
- Logged-In Customers β Show the Pop Card only to customers who are signed in to their account.
π‘ Tip: Showing different Pop Cards to different visitor groups can help make your campaigns feel more relevant and personalized.
- Under βWhen to Display,β choose the exact moment the Pop Card will show:
- Immediately β Shows the Pop Card as soon as the page loads.
- After Time (Seconds) β Shows the Pop Card after a set delay. Enter the number of seconds to wait before it appears.
- When Scrolled Down (%) β Shows the Pop Card after visitors scroll down a specific percentage of the page. Enter the percentage in the field provided.
- When User Tries to Leave β Shows the Pop Card when a visitorβs mouse moves to close the tab or leave the page (exit intent).
π‘ Tip: Use After Time or When Scrolled Down for a less disruptive experience. Reserve Immediately for important announcements, and use When User Tries to Leave to help capture visitors before they leave your storefront.
- Under βHow Often to Showβ, choose how frequently each visitor should see the Pop Card:
- Every Visit β Shows the Pop Card every time the visitor returns to your site.
- One Visit per Hour β Shows the Pop Card once within an hour.
- One Visit per Day β Shows the Pop Card once per day.
- One Visit per Week β Shows the Pop Card once per week.
- One Visit per Month β Shows the Pop Card once per month.
π‘ Tip: Limiting how often a Pop Card appears can help reduce repetition while keeping your message visible to visitors.
ποΈ Note: If you’re continuing with the next Pop Card setup section, you can move to the next tab and save later. If you’re finished making changes, click Save to keep your updates.
