Thank You Confirmation

Set Up Your Thank You Confirmation (Opt-in Only) #

Thank You Confirmation settings let you choose what customers see after submitting an Opt-in Form.

You can display a confirmation message, redirect subscribers to another page, and optionally send a follow-up email.

To access Thank You Confirmation Settings:

1.  Open the Opt-in Pop Card you want to edit.
2. Select Thank You Confirmation from the left menu.

To setup Thank You Confirmation:


1. Choose What Happens After Submission

Select one of the available options:

  • Show a Thank You Message – Display a confirmation message inside the Pop Card after the form is submitted.
    • Enter your message in the text field.
    • Example: “Thank you for subscribing! Check your inbox for updates soon.”
    • This message will automatically display right after the visitor opts in.
  • Redirect Subscriber to a Page – Redirects visitors to a different page after they opt in.
    • Enter the URL (page link) in the text field.
    • Example: https://yourstore.com/welcome
    • After submitting, visitors are redirected straight to this link.
⚠️ Important: Always double-check your page links (URL) before saving to avoid broken redirects.

2. Also send a thank-you email (checkbox)

  • Check this box if you’d like subscribers to receive an automated thank-you email.
  • Once enabled, new fields appear:
    1. Subject – Enter the subject line for your email.
      • Example: “Thanks for signing up with EPIC!”
    2. Body – Write the content of your email.
      • Example: “Thank you for signing up with EPIC. Please enjoy this coupon! – The EPIC Team”
⚠️ Important: If you’re including a coupon code in your email, replace {{COUPON_PLACEHOLDER}} with the actual coupon code before saving your settings.
You’ll also need to create and manage the coupon inside BigCommerce.

3. Test Email (Optional) – Enter an email address and click Send Test Email to preview what subscribers will receive.

    💡 Tip: Keep your subject line short, clear, and friendly. Make your email body concise and clearly explain what the subscriber will receive (for example: discount, newsletter, freebie). Test your email flow by sending a test email to ensure the experience feels smooth, helpful, and not overwhelming for your customers.

    Review and Save Your Confirmation Settings #

    Before saving, we recommend checking:

    ✔ confirmation message displays correctly

    ✔ redirect links work as expected

    ✔ email subject and content are accurate

    ✔ coupon codes have been updated (if applicable)

    ✔ test emails are delivered successfully
