Reward Settings let you control when rewards are credited and whether your rewards program is active on your storefront.
After setting up your reward rates, storefront messages, and rewards emails, this is the final step before launching your rewards program.
You can use Reward Settings to:
- choose when customers receive rewards
- control which order statuses trigger rewards
- activate or pause your rewards program

Navigating to Reward Settings
- From the left sidebar, click on Apps β Website Marketing β goLoyalty β Rewards
- Click Settings
Choosing When Rewards Are Given #
1. Under Choose When Rewards Are Given, select one or more order statuses that should trigger rewards for customers.
Available Reward Triggers
- Pending β rewards are given immediately after the order is placed, before payment or processing begins
- Awaiting Payment β rewards are given after the order is created but before payment is received
- Awaiting Fulfillment β rewards are given after payment is received but before the order is prepared or shipped
- Awaiting Shipment β rewards are given once the order is packed and ready for shipment
- Awaiting Pickup β rewards are given when the order is ready for pickup
- Partially Shipped β rewards are given after part of the order has shipped
- Shipped β rewards are given after the order is dispatched
- Completed β rewards are given after the order is fully completed
- Cancelled β rewards are given even if the order is cancelled
- Declined β rewards are given even if the order is declined
- Refunded β rewards are given even if the order is fully refunded
- Partially Refunded β rewards are given after a partial refund
- Disputed β rewards are given while the order is under dispute
- Manual Verification Required β rewards are only given after manual verification
(example: for high-value or flagged transactions).
2. After selecting your preferred reward triggers, click Save.
π‘ Tips for Reward Triggers
- You can select more than one status if needed.
- Most stores reward at βCompletedβ or βShippedβ to avoid fraud or early cancellation.
- Review Regularly: Periodically check your enabled triggers to ensure they align with your current loyalty program goals.
- Balance Points: Consider the value of the action when deciding whether to enable a specific trigger.
Enable or Disable Rewards #
The Rewards toggle controls whether your rewards program is active on your storefront.
- ON β activates rewards
- OFF β temporarily pauses rewards without deleting your setup
1. Switch the toggle ON or OFF.
2. Click Save.
β οΈ Important: Rewards will only appear on your storefront after the toggle is enabled and your settings are saved.
