Access epicSnap for the First Time #

After installing epicSnap, you’ll use two connected apps that work together throughout your review process:

  • epicSnap Admin App — Set up and manage your review requests.
  • epicSnap Mobile Web App — Send manual review requests with or without photos and manage manually added orders.

You’ll start in the Admin App, where you’ll set up epicSnap before using the Mobile Web App.

Open the epicSnap Admin App #

After launching from BigCommerce, you’ll arrive in epicApps, where all Epic apps are managed.

To open epicSnap:

1. In the left sidebar, click Apps.
2. Select Website Marketing.
3. Click epicSnap.

You’ll be taken to the epicSnap Dashboard.

Get Familiar with the Dashboard #

The Dashboard gives you a quick snapshot of your store’s review activity, making it easy to see how your reviews are performing at a glance.

On the Dashboard, you can quickly check:

  • Star Rating Breakdown — Reviews grouped by star rating.
  • Average Star Rating — Your store’s overall review rating.
  • Reviews Received — The total number of reviews you’ve collected.
  • Last Review — The date and time your latest review was submitted.
💡 Tip: Check your Dashboard regularly to keep an eye on customer feedback. Changes in your average rating or review volume can help you quickly spot trends and understand how customers are responding to your products and service.

Access the Mobile Web App #

Use the Mobile Web App when you’d like to send review requests yourself, especially if you want to include photos or add orders that weren’t created in BigCommerce.

To access the Mobile Web App:

1. Open your mobile browser.
2. Go to epicsnap.com.

🗒️ Note: You can also open the Mobile Web App by clicking the epicSnap logo in the Admin App. However, for the best experience, we recommend opening it directly from your mobile browser.

Add epicSnap to Your Device #

When you first open the Mobile Web App, you’ll be guided through adding epicSnap to your device so you can quickly open it from your home screen.

Android #

1. Tap the three-dot menu in your browser.
2. Tap Install App.
3. Tap Install.

iPhone (Safari) #

1. Tap the Share button.
2. Select Add to Home Screen.
3. Enter a name (for example, epicSnap) and tap Add.

Once added, epicSnap will appear on your home screen just like a regular app.

Sign In to the Mobile Web App #

1. Open epicSnap from your home screen.
2. Enter your Shop Phrase.
3. (Optional) Select Remember this device if you’re using your own device.
4. Tap Login.

💡 Tip: Your Shop Phrase is created in the Admin App while setting up epicSnap. If you haven’t created one yet, you’ll do that later in this guide before using the Mobile Web App.
