Before you start collecting reviews, you’ll need to decide how you’d like to send review requests to your customers.

epicSnap offers two setup options:

  • Autopilot — epicSnap automatically sends review requests for you.
  • Manual — You choose when to send each review request yourself.

The best option depends on how your store operates and the experience you’d like to create for your customers.

Compare Your Options #

Autopilot #

Autopilot automatically sends review requests after an order reaches the conditions you choose.

This option is a great fit if you want to collect reviews automatically with little day-to-day effort.

Best for:

  • Stores with a high number of orders
  • Merchants who want to automate review requests
  • Businesses that don’t need to include a photo of the customer’s order with their review requests

Things to know:

  • Review requests are sent automatically.
  • Review requests are sent without a photo of the customer’s order.

Manual #

With Manual setup, you choose when to send each review request from the epicSnap Mobile Web App.

Before sending a review request, you can take a photo or upload one from your device, making it easy to include a photo of the customer’s order.

Best for:

  • Gift shops
  • Florists
  • Local delivery businesses
  • Stores that want to include a photo of the customer’s order with their review requests
  • Merchants who prefer reviewing each order before sending a request

Things to know:

  • You choose when each review request is sent.
  • You can include a photo of the customer’s order before sending the review request.

💡 Tip: If you’d like to include photos with your review requests, choose Manual. You can always switch to Autopilot later if you’d rather automate the process.

Which Setup Should You Choose? #

Choose Autopilot if you’d like epicSnap to automatically send review requests after each order.

Choose Manual if you’d like more control over when review requests are sent or if you’d like to include a photo of the customer’s order with each review request.

If you’re still deciding, don’t worry—you can change your setup later in the epicSnap Admin App.
